Competitions

Näätämön Ystävät gives out a small weekly prize for the catcher of the biggest salmon each week during the season for its members. You can partake if you are a member by sending your name and address along with the date and weight of the catch to kilpailut@naatamonystavat.fi. You should also send a picture, or the name and personal information of a witness if a picture is unavailable. At the same time you partake in a competition of the catch of the year. The winners are announced every spring in our annual meeting. We have also arranged e.g. a competition for a best original fly recipe and are planning to arrange  writing and photography competitions.
